Brownbear are an acclaimed Scottish indie-soul and alternative act fronted by award winning singer-songwriter Matthew Hickman. Known for high-energy performances and infectious, soulful melodies, the band has been championed by major broadcasters like BBC Radio 1, Radio Scotland, and has supported artists such as Paolo Nutini, Michael Kiwanuka & The Libertines. His second album ‘Demons’ received critical acclaim and reached the top 10 of the Scottish Album Chart, earning itself a place on the long list for Scottish Album of the Year.
