Billy Bremner was born early on, in the 1980’s to parents, Billy had a childhood. Then he got jobs and bills and everything became a bit of a blur. Then he got contact lenses and that cleared things up a bit. His parents say the contact lenses are ironic because now he travels around making a spectacle of himself. Billy favours telling short jokes and has been compared to Tim Vine in that neither of them are likely to lead an army into battle. Billy grew up in Airdrie (quite easily with all the takeaways around), and has performed at The Edinburgh Fringe, Glasgow International Comedy Festival, Hot Water Comedy in Liverpool and many other places. His ambition is to go on Live At The Apollo and die (though not literally) just for the irony.
Iain Hume is a regular on the Scottish comedy circuit, often appearing weekends at Glasgow’s Glee & Blackfriars Comedy Clubs, Aberdeen’s Blue Lamp and Breakneck, Des McLean & Friends shows & is very much in demand. A confident storyteller and observer of life as he sees it, Iain’s material is appreciated by audiences of all ages. Recently he supported Milton Jones, Ed Byrne, Dylan Moran and Jim Smith.
Charlotte Mae is a newly-divorced mother of two from Edinburgh who uses sharp, observational comedy and straight-talking feminist views (with a twist) to unpack modern life, motherhood, dating, and everything in between. From one perspective flirty with the audience yet fiery she reels them in. Drawing on her own ups and downs, she delivers honest, self-aware humour that’s relatable and quietly fearless — finding the funny in situations most people are trying to survive. One to watch.
Your host as ever will be Airdrie’s own Patrick Rolink.
Over 18s only.
