Interested in taking part in a Visual Arts & Crafts class?

A wide range of weekly visual arts classes are held in community centres and facilities across North Lanarkshire and offer drawing and painting, printing, and arts and crafts.

Our Visual Arts & Crafts Programme

Our programme is artist led within a relaxed and friendly environment, catering for complete beginners to those with more experience. Everyone is welcome, so come along, flex those creative muscles, and enjoy!

Art Attack Classes

A wide range of arts activities on offer including drawing, painting, clay modelling, sculpture making, printmaking and more! Children can bring a snack and must wear messy clothes.

7-12 years

Adult Drawing & Painting

Arts & You Adult Art classes are tutor led, skills based and suitable for complete beginners and/or for those with more experience. Activity is mainly drawing and painting based, using a range of materials, and focusing on a variety of subject matter.      

16 years+

PAUSEPRESSPRINT Club

Explore different print processes: monoprint , drypoint etching, collagraphy, gelli-plate printing, carborundum, blind emboss, tetrapac printing, block printing, lino printing and more!

12-16 years

Arts for Everyone

Arts for Everyone is our community ticket initiative, offering free theatre, concert, exhibition or event tickets and workshop places in our Arts & You class programme, to people experiencing disadvantage/or who identify as belonging to an underrepresented characteristic group. We want to ensure everyone has the chance to enjoy live performance, connect with culture, and feel part of our shared creative community.

For the purpose of Arts for Everyone under-represented characteristic groups considered are: socio economic disadvantaged, global majority and care experience young people.
